Brooklyn Boulders: the Massachusetts coworking space that’s on top of a climbing wall in the middle of a 40,000 SF climbing gym.

A climbing gym at the office. I love it

This 300-MPH Bullet Train Will Take You From D.C. To New York In An Hour

Investors in the Northeast Maglev (TNEM), an American company with funding from a Japanese government bank, say that a superconducting magnetic levitation train is the future of transportation between Washington, D.C. and New York City. If successful, the Northeast Maglev would carry passengers one way in 60 minutes, and from Baltimore to D.C. in 15 minutes. (Magnets! How do they work?)

Hyperloop, the “evacuated tube transport” design unveiled last week by Space X founder and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk, wants to get you from San Francisco to LA in less than 30 minutes. Take a look at this video and read more about it here from Fast Company.

this would really shrink the earth and make the statement “lets go to paris for dinner tonight” possible.

Weird habits that make people successful (and awesome):

1. Argue
2. Confront: "You need to be ready to call someone out. If somebody is bullshitting you, tell them. They need to hear it. Being endlessly deferential is a shortcut: instead of doing the hard work of advocating truth, you take the “easy" route of suffocating in passivity."
3. Be ruthless
4. Seek out rejection
5. Isolate yourself: “Yes, we know that you’re incredibly popular and hip and you never eat alone and you can work any room. That’s great. But if you ever want to grow internally rather than court external validation, you need to get away from all the people.”
